turbine pipe

The turbine pipe (exhaust pipe from the turbo charger down) is very restrictive. This causes the loss of power and torque. Increase your truck’s power, torque and MPG by changing this pipe. Or, add on additional components for a more drastic improvement! By changing your entire exhaust system, you will even further decrease back pressure, freeing up lost power and torque. This will also increase your MPG and give your truck an authoritative sound!

air intakeThe air intake is a small slot across the front of the header panel. The size and location make it difficult for your engine to move air. By changing to a free-flowing cold air system, you will free up restricted power. As an added bonus, your air filter will be a lot easier to remove for cleaning (they NEVER have to be replaced!)

power module

By adding a power program along with the proper air upgrades (see above), you will dramatically improve your horsepower, torque and MPG (up to 29% in some trucks). Plus, this just plain makes it fun to drive!

transmission panThe installation of a performance accumulator and pressure regulator valve will decrease your shift time. This will give you a crisp shift, decreasing wear on your clutches and reducing heat in your trans - equating to a longer lived trans and a boost in your MPG. A deep sump aluminum ribbed trans pan helps to keep your trans fluid cool, will add approximately 3 quarts to capacity and increase the rigidity of your trans.

A torque converter is a smart upgrade for high performance modified trucks. With its multi-disc torque converter clutch and indestructible forged-steel billet housing, the new Banks Billet Torque Converter provides more than double the torque capacity of stock (1600 lb-ft vs. 700 lb-ft). And because the lockup clutch is slip-resistant, transmission fluid temperatures stay cooler and transmission life is prolonged.

Improve exhaust flow, reduce exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and realize greater power gains with the new "Full Bore" driver’s side exhaust manifold for the 01-06 GM Duramax.

You may not know it, but the factory driver's side manifold is pinched down to allow clearance for the steering shaft, which actually isn’t required. As a result, this manifold flows 80% of the passenger side manifold.

The BD Full Bore exhaust manifold restores exhaust flow to match the passenger side, and is a direct, bolt-in replacement for the factory part (GM gasket required). The BD Full Bore manifold is made from high-silicon ductile iron to resist cracking from high temperature and vibration, and is even tapped to accept the most popular EGT probes.

The BD Big Bore exhaust manifold is a great compliment to BD's new SuperMax turbo upgrade kit and stainless steel X-Hale exhaust systems.

gaugesAlso available is a full compliment of gauges featuring boost, trans temp and exhaust temp - with many other available! Once you've towed with gauges you will never want to go without!
